AWWWW.....FINALLY

BLOOMING IT IS, APRIL 16, 2013
Well the weather here is still up and down, but have been having warmer days.  The grass has turned back to green, and some peeps have mowed already.  Love the smell of fresh mowed grass.  Also sharing some pics of some more rugs I have finished.

I love this rug, these colors are my favorite for rug hooking.  I hooked this rug using an antique rug for inspiration.  Measures 12 x 28.  This rug is available for purchase is interested, send me an email.

I love pretty much anything Americana.  I hooked the fish and flag using an antique tavern sign for inspiration, i then added the wonderful hit and miss border.  This rug measures 21.5 x 16 and is also available for purchase, send me an email.

Love this design, I hooked this one before in lighter shades, I had a request for it done in darker tones.  Both customers so very happy with their new rugs.

Still waiting here for the warmer days!!!
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!!!

OH WARMER DAYS......

Where are you???  I am hopeful that they are soon!!!!
This is my Forsythia Bush today, April 3, 2013, not so pretty!!!

This is the same bush, this picture was taken on March 20th 2012.  Pretty here!!  So waiting for it to look like this again.

I got a few more rugs finished up, really like them both!

This one is called The Woolery, pattern by Yvonne Buus-Vintage Heart Primitives.  I did change mine up some from her original, with permission given.  She has many wonderful designs, and what is even better for me anyways, she offers paper patterns.  She does have her patterns listed on Etsy.

This rug is called Village Pear Tree, pattern by Woolen Memories.  I love her patterns, I did get several, so I am anxious to hook on some of the others I got from her.

Waiting for warmer days and bright green grass!!!  Have a wonderful day. and Thanks for stopping by!!!  Rhonda

SHARING RUG FINISHES

I finished up my adaption to an antique rug.  I absolutely love this one.  I used the flash on the camera so it shows the colors and textures of wool I used.  This sweet rug, has a new home, and yes this one was very hard to part with, but someday, I can hook it again.

This sweet bird I hook using an antique rug for inspiration, I love the tones of the teal and gold.  I used a wool blend yarn and whipped the edging.  This one measures about 22 x16 and is available for purchase.  Send me an email if interested, There is a button to the right for emails.

PROGRESS

On another one of my favorite antique rug adaptions.

This one will measure around 19 x 34 when finished, I am loving the way it is turning out.  Had to do some reverse hooking, and I do not like doing that.  Hopefully tomorrow I will have it finished.

STILL HOOKING

This is another one of my favorite patterns.  My pattern was adapted from an antique hooked rug.  This one measures about 20 x 16.  See my sweet little birdie there, that was made by Lori Rippey, she makes the most awesome prim goodies.  Thank you again Lori, still loving my birdie!!
