First rugs finished for 2011

First of all my fur babies would like to wish everyone a Happy New Years. They decided to pose on my bed while I was trying to take pictures of it. The little yorkie is Mugsey, and the other (yorkie-poo) is Vinnie. They are my gangsters. I love my babies.


This is what Santa brought me for Christmas, a new pencil post bed, oh my I just love it. It arrived Christmas eve, unfinished(that's how I wanted it), I got it painted black and then I used dk brown bri-wax over it. Well then with the new bed that meant I had to paint my bedroom walls, cause it just wasn't gonna match my bed or coverlet right, needless to say my husband thought I was a bit ridiculous, but hey they just don't understand. He did admit that the walls did look good. Now I have gotten fabric that I dyed to make curtains. That wont take long, I will have them done sometime this week. HEY JULS BUTLER WHATCHA THINK???

While I was getting my room ready I knew I needed a rug for over the bed, so I got up early, very early, and hook on my beautiful rug for about 3-4 hrs before it was time to get hubby up for work. Well I did get it done within the week also to hang, what do you think? I love it. It is a pattern by Wendy Miller that I bought when I went to Sauder's Village.



Just finished up this rug, I love how it turned out. It is a pattern by Country Stitches, hopefully this will be going on ebay later tonight.


And this rug, I think is so awesome!! This is a pattern by Primitive Spirits. She has some really neat patterns. This rug will also be going on ebay later.


Well I am in the hooking mood so gotta go and get another rug finished!! Thanks for stopping by, hope that everyone rung in the new year with lots of fun!! I did!!! Rhonda

    I am totally jealous of your awesome pencil post bed!! Have always wanted one! And black - I'm so into black furniture these days. Looks fabulous!! And the rugs - fantastic!

    Oh Rhonda! I have some serious bed envy goin' on here! It is wonderful. Your bedroom is awesome and the rugs tie it all together!
    I have always admired your work and you are fast my girl!

    Rhonda - I wondered about that bed in Country Sampler, you make it wonderful! Your room looks great (including the gangstas). I can't believe you did those 3 beautiful rugs in such a short time!!

    Beautiful rug, I love the blue in the one over your bed. And your bed is lovely, great job on the painting of it.
    Your puppies are sweet. I have a yorkie but it is a big one, about 17 lbs and a sweetheart.
