I have been Stitchin!!

I finished stitching this piece this morning, I love it.  Stacy Nash designed this for the Malabar show this year.
I even got it completed.  I haven't completed a stitching pattern in years.  Stitching use to be my favorite craft to do.  I did enjoy working on it, thank goodness I have glasses now, sure can't see the holes without them, geez that is a sign of aging, never had to worry about it years ago, such as life.  I may even stitch up something else, so many great patterns out there, I want alot of them, so we will see!
Thanks for stopping by!!!

  1. Beautiful Rhonda - but, yikes - you sound like me, but several years younger....I used to stitch all the time....Then the eyes started going...I did get glasses, then cheaters, then bifocals, then bifocals AND cheaters - finally gave up and turned to hooking and punching. Every once and a while I do still stitch - takes a while to readjust, and is much more frustrating than it ever was (and, probably no 40 counts for me) - but it makes me treasure those finishes all the more...Have a great weekend! 3. It is a beautiful finish, Rhonda.... I am a cross-stitcher, too.... it used to be much easier to see those little squares back in the day! Now I just tell my eye doctor to give me strong enough lenses to be able to stitch -- although 40 count is still a bit of a challenge! ;)
Love your work -- everything you do is just lovely! Have a pleasant evening.....

  4. Beautiful stitching. I love stitching too...even though the little dots multiply before my eyes and I have to put my glasses on to see which hole the thread goes through! Hahahaha...oh well it is worth it once the stitchery is complete! Beautiful blog by the way!

  7. Rhonda ~
Looks good! Love that pattern! I, too, stitched all the time until I couldn't see to do it. Finally, with glasses and my Ott, I can see to stitch . . . now I just need to find the time!
SO GOOD to see you yesterday! Thanks for the purchase.
    Pug hugs :)
