Well today I got this rug back out, I started hooking on it last year and had to put it aside for other things, I am determined to get this one finished and hopefully a few others I have started. This rug is probably the largest I have hooked on. With the pattern being on linen I am using 8.5 and 9 strips, love the wide cuts. I did get a #9.5 for Christmas and love it. Hope to have this rug finished by tomarrow evening.
I love this new blue wool I got. perfect shade for me. This pattern is by Country Stitches and will be offered on TDIPT.
This rug as well will be offered on TDIPT. I love this design, it is an adaption of an antique hooked rug.
Thanks for stopping by
Rhonda
Beautiful! Just beautiful! I love that blue!
ReplyDeleteJust great, love the colors and patterns!
ReplyDeleteI love your new offerings for TDIPT.....
ReplyDeleteBest of luck...
Rhonda, like you I've pulled out some of my unfinished projects to work on. I'm sure we'll both feel better moving into 2012 with a clean slate....uh, or at least a little cleanter.

I really like the rug in the middle. The blue border makes it really "pop". What brown/black did you use for the background? It's really pretty.

Rhonda, your impeccable work always inspires me! I love how your "My Garden" is coming along. That's my friend Sandy's design (Woolen Memories) - love her stuff! Can't wait to see it when it's done!
